2021 Community Resource Fair - June 4th, 2021
The 3rd Annual Marquette County Community Resource Fair was held Friday, June 4th from 12:00-4:00 PM thanks to the incredible support of over 34 organizations to raise awareness of the amazing resources in our community.
“Due to the major impact that COVID-19 continues to have on our community, now more than ever, people need help,” said UPHP Chief Executive Officer Melissa Holmquist. “Many people have lost their jobs and livelihood as a result of the pandemic and may be unaware of the community resources available to help them. We hope this event will help make that connection, and provide people with the goods and services they need to get through this difficult time.”
Together, UPHCS and its partners were able to serve 324 households and 786 individuals, including 202 seniors, 187 children, and 52 veterans. Additionally, the Marquette County Health Department was on site to deliver the one-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine for those attendees who wished to receive it.
