Upper Peninsula MI AIM 2020 Quality Improvement Participation Award
The Michigan Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health awards Michigan birthing hospitals improving care for mothers and babies. Four Upper Peninsula Birthing Hospitals have received recognition for their work to implement the AIM Obstetric Hemorrhage and Sever Hypertension in Pregnancy safety bundles. The bundles help to improve health outcomes for birthing persons by combating the leading causes of preventable maternal mortality by fully equipping hospitals to prevent and adequately treat these severe maternal events.
